Meaning behind Generations
Art is something that has always been a strong connection between my mom and me. Going to exhibits and discussing art and artists we love is a driving force in our relationship and something that we want to help cultivate in more generations. Beyond that it is an indication that as artists and people were are all connected to each other and informed by past generations. Why not create spaces and fun adventures specifically meant to foster these important relationships. Especially acknowledging female artists and the outstanding impact they have had.
Who is Generations for?
A concept created by my mother and I who have always shared a love of art, it has been a constant of our relationship. Bonding over art, talking about emerging artists, or influential female icons has helped us keep in touch despite us living on different continents.
Generations trips are specifically tailored immersive experiences for creatives yearning to explore new spaces, appreciate female artists of present, past and future and who ideally would be apple to enjoy this adventure alongside a different generation of creative in their family. We encourage trip goers to bring along other generations of female creatives, to highten the experience, whether it be mothers, daughters, sisters, nieces, or even your found family. And although we would love everyone to grab a loved one, this trip can still be incredibly fulfilling to those coming on their own.
